Obama Leave The Church and GOD Alone

President Obama seems to know what is better for the Catholic Church than the Catholic Church itself! What the President is trying to force  Catholics to do with their insurance for employees and services their hospitals must provide  is not only against the Catholics beliefs but it is an assault on religion in general.

 Today it's the Catholics next month it could be the Methodists, Lutherans or one of any number of other religions. It's time for the people of any and all religions to banned together and tell the government to stick to government and leave Religion  alone. The government believes, for some reason,  they have this new found authority over every aspect of people's lives.  I am here to tell you that is a dangerous step for any government.Dangerous to the people and their freedom.

The Obama administration's ongoing battle with The Catholic Church  " over contraception health care mandates  has been brewing for quite some time. Over the weekend, though, the stand-off took an unusual turn, as Catholic churches across America read a letter to congregants that perfectly encapsulated the church’s stance against the impending federal requirements.

The Church’s vocal arguments against the Obama administration are centered upon a Health and Human Services Department requirement that employers must include contraception and abortion-inducing drugs in health-care coverage. While this requirement doesn’t apply to houses of worship, it will force Catholic colleges, hospitals and other Christian groups to provide these drugs despite their faith-based opposition to them.

Many of these organizations, despite not being, themselves, churches, are intrinsically rooted in religious belief systems that stand firmly opposed to medications and procedures that would terminate the life of an unborn child. These deeply-rooted moral codes, which drive the groups’ work, will be impeded, Catholic leaders say, should the Obama administration continue with its planned mandate.

Recently, the federal government made one small concession surrounding the requirement, as officials decided to give church-affiliated hospitals and organizations another year before they will be forced to comply with the coverage restrictions.

“In effect, the president is saying we have a year to figure out how to violate our consciences,” Cardinal-designate Timothy M. Dolan, archbishop of New York and president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, recently said.

Over the weekend, the Catholic Church’s letter went beyond simply issuing oppositional rhetoric to media. Instead, priests read an open note to congregations across the country, dubbing the administration‘s take on women’s health and religious violations as an attack on their faith. In the letter, Bishops highlighted what they called “an alarming and serious matter,“ as their words contended that the federal government has ”dealt a heavy blow” to the Catholic population."

Ask yourself,what religion will be next? At some point every American had better take a stand and stop what appears to be an intrusion of government into  the lives of "the people."

Please vote in the next election and remember race is not, nor should it  be an issue but freedom is and should be an issue!

          We heard the President  in his "State of the Union" speech talk about taxes on the rich, they aren't paying their fair share. OK, first off, the people that make the most money pay a higher percentage of that money  in taxes. Even if the percentages were exactly the same for every wage earner...exactly the same...the person who made more pays more. Again, even if the percentage were the same, the guy making more pays more. However, that's not how taxes work in the United States, if you make more you pay a higher percentage of what you made in taxes. Talk about fair share, that in itself is unfair, fair would be, everyone pays the same percentage. Which means the person who made more still pays more. That's not  hard to understand.
           OK, another fact about taxes we have all heard recently, one of the Republicans running to become the candidate for President  has been under fire because he paid a lower rate or percentage than a middle class earner.   This is not  comparing apples to apples, the 15% he paid  was not on regular working income. This man didn't work and make money, he was using the dividends /interest from money he had saved and had already paid about 35% tax on that money before he invested it.

           This is not a bad thing and as a matter of fact, we should all hope to be able to invest one day. So, save your change! (Now that is hope and change we can all live with!)

          If President Obama  got the," the millionaires tax" that doesn't  come close to solving America money problems, not by a long shot. As a matter of fact if all the millionaires were taxed at 30% that would solve about 8% of the problem...yes only 8% ...Mr President what about the other 92%? Mr. President get  back to DC and go to work, start earning some of the money you are paid.. get down to business and stop trying to get Americans mad at one another. This rich vs middle class warfare will not, solve any problems or get you re-elected, you did that to yourself by not leading this country.

12 Examples of Taxpayer Money Being Spent in 2012,Unauthorized

The Congressional Budget Office's  report on all unauthorized appropriations and expiring authorizations for fiscal year 2012. The report has been sent to both the House and the Senate.

The  report is a reminder of all stopgap measures in place. The government is running on a series of continuing resolutions.

(OK, just to get things straight, these appropriations have not been authorized by the government, this year, last year or the year before,( we have not had a budget since 2009) . What, you say?  Yes, I say, under the reign of king,oooops! I mean President Obama,the Untied States has not past a budget for over one thousands days> ( IT IS NOT ENTIRELY UP TO THE PRESIDENT, THE HOUSE HAS TO PASS IT, THE SENATE HAS TO PASS IT THEN THE PRESIDENT HAS TO SIGN IT INTO LAW)   BEFORE PLACING BLAME KNOW THIS: The President's party had control of, the White house, the Senate and the House. That means, the Dems could have passed just about anything, they had all the control they needed. They failed to do so!  Again,the President and his party had control over the White house, the House and the Senate and didn't pass a budget. When the Rep's took control of the House, the House passed a budget sent it to the Senate, which was and is still controlled by the DEMs, they failed to pass it. I know it is hard to understand .................
How can the President stand up in front of the people of the United States and have the nerve to asked to be re-elected?????????????????????????? 
As citizens we should ask ourselves, if this  man can not get a budget passed  with control over three branches of government ( remember the Judges don't vote). Why would we or should we give him another term, on that fact alone.)

Experience Needed to Become President? Right!

The Republicans are currently in the process of sorting through a group of people, who are highly qualified to lead this country. The process is long and hard and has weeded out some very good and highly intelligent people with experience that could  have served this country well. At this point in the process there are four men. These men debate each other time after time and spend unbelievable amounts of money to get their vision for the future of the  country out to the voters in hope they will be nominated then elected. They subject themselves to scrutiny by the media that can upset and or embarrass them and their families, that has become part of the process. Speaking of the process it seems there is  bias when it comes to the media and the different parties.
For example, where was the media when our current President was involved in this same process within the Democrat party. We all remember how Hillary Clinton was on the way to become the first female candidate for President of the United State. Then, it seemed, out of no where this black man, who most people in the country had never heard of, came to the fore front. That too was a big deal, to have a  black candidate for President of the United State that was black for the first time ever. I am not sure what happened or why but once it looked like it could happen  the media seemed to want this to occur and helped him. By help, I mean, they decided his background and experience was no longer a concern. Things about his past never came out  and to this very day his college grades have not been seen by "anyone" ( the public) . The media has never truly investigated the past of the current President, Barrack Obama.   I have no idea about his birth certificate but to this very day there are still questions, there  is a court case in the state of GA, going on right now, questioning the current President's citizenship, thus his ability to be put on the ballot in GA. This maybe a foolish attempt by a crazy attorney but if the media had done their job their would be no question.
            More to the point, what experience did the President have in the "real world?"
 As I alluded to earlier the public doesn't even  have a copy of his college records. But the media was demanding the tax records of a Republican  candidate.
 After some investigation I have found the following: 
Barack Obama  cites his time as a community organizer  in Chicago as one of the experiences that qualify him to hold the nation’s highest office. “I can bring this country together,” he said. “I have a track record, starting from the days I moved to Chicago as a community organizer.”
 “When classmates in college asked me just what it was that a community organizer did, I couldn’t answer them directly,” Obama wrote in his memoir, Dreams from My Father. “Instead, I’d pronounce on the need for change. Change in the White House, where Reagan and his minions were carrying on their dirty deeds. Change in the Congress, compliant and corrupt. Change in the mood of the country, manic and self-absorbed. Change won’t come from the top, I would say. Change will come from a mobilized grass roots." A Community Organizer, that is what the people of this country  wanted as real life experience from the President of the United States of America, a Community Organizer, community organizer? We all see the shape this country is in and we see the reaction of the President  when events happen, it's sad, truly sad. He has his "Plan" as to what he thinks the government's role is in the life of the "people," after all he has had experience, experience as a community organizer.
 Obama is Experienced :
 Community organizing is  the practice of identifying a specific aggrieved population and agitating them until they become so upset about their condition that they take collective action to put pressure on local, state, or federal officials to fix the problem, often by giving the affected group money. Organizers like to call that “direct action.”

Community organizing is most identified with the left-wing Chicago activist Saul Alinsky (1909-72), who pretty much defined the profession. In his classic book, Rules for Radicals, Alinsky wrote that a successful organizer should be “an abrasive agent to rub raw the resentments of the people of the community; to fan latent hostilities of many of the people to the point of overt expressions.” Once such hostilities were “whipped up to a fighting pitch,”  the organizer steered his group toward confrontation, in the form of picketing, demonstrating, and general hell-raising. At first, the organizer tackled small stuff, like demanding the repair of streetlights in a city park; later, when the group gained confidence, the organizer could take on bigger targets. But at all times, the organizer’s goal was not to lead his people anywhere, but to encourage them to take action on their own behalf.



Jerry Kellman, the organizer who hired Obama said"Barack had been very inspired by the civil-rights movement,” “I felt that he wanted to work in the civil-rights movement, but he was ten years too late, and this was the closest he could find to it at the time.” Obama, in his memoir, put it more simply when he said he went to Chicago to “organize black folks.”


Jerry Kellman set out to find a black organizer. He ran an ad in some trade publications, and Obama responded. But  Kellman wasn’t sure Obama was right for the job.  It was only when Kellman talked to Obama on the phone, and Obama “expressed interest in something African-American culturally,” that  Kellman offered Obama the job.


But Kellman had to sell Obama to the leaders.  Obama was obviously smart, and he wanted to be an organizer, but he was, in fact, quite young (24) and he didn’t actually know much about the job. Despite those drawbacks, he seemed to work some sort of magic on the leaders. “He had a sensitivity I have never seen in anybody else to this day,” Augustine-Herron told me. “He understood.” The women were sold. “He didn’t have experience,” Augustine-Herron said. “But he had a sensitivity that allowed us to believe that he could do the job.” So Obama it was. (Does this sound  somewhat like he did to the American people?)

After the initial interviewing, Obama went to work on a number of projects.
The long-term goal was to retrain workers in order to restore manufacturing jobs in the area; Kellman took Obama by the rusted-out, closed-down Wisconsin Steel plant for a firsthand look. But the whole thing was a bit of a pipe dream, as the leaders soon discovered. “The idea was to interview these people and look at education, transferable skills, so that we could refer them to other industries,well, they had no transferable skills. I remember interviewing one man who ran a steel-straightening machine. It straightened steel bars or something. I said, well, what did you do? And he told me he pushed a button, and the rods came in, and he pushed a button and it straightened them, and he pushed a button and it sent them somewhere else. That’s all he did. And he made big bucks doing it.”
That, of course, was one of the reasons the steel mill closed. And it became clear that neither Obama nor Kellman nor anyone else was going to change the direction of the steel industry and its unions in the United States. Somewhere along the line, everyone realized that those jobs wouldn’t be coming back. ( Sounds to me as if Obama has had no experience in creating any jobs)

Obama was an organizer for three years. When he returned to Chicago after law school, he did some voter-registration work and then joined a civil-rights practice. In 1996, he ran for the state senate. Eight years later, he was elected to the U.S. Senate, and within a year after that he was exploring a run for president. The rest is History as they say History the likes of which this country has not experienced in a long time and hopefully will not have to experience again.**


  If this is the experience the American people demand of it's President, there is only one conclusion: Any of the four  Republican  candidates going through the process at this time are far more qualified than the current President can ever Hope to be.

Are we Idiots? Why do we allow .....

           The current President  has missed the deadline, a statutory requirement, to present a budget, again.(He  informed congress it will not be ready until Feb 13th) How many days has this President, who cares so much for "The People," been on vacation, playing golf and on the campaign trail in that expensive new new bus?) This is the 3rd time in his 4 years as President he has missed the statutory required deadline.
           Thanks to Senate Democrats this country, the United States of America has not had a budget since 2009. When the Democrats controlled both Houses of congress and the White House they failed to pass a budget. In case you are counting, this country has been operating for 1000 days without a budget. Last year the Republican controlled house passed a budget however when the budget reached the Senate, Democrats who control the Senate wouldn't even bring it to the chamber floor so a vote could be taken. So thanks to the President's own party the people of the United States have no budget.  Is this leadership?
     The President can't expect anyone, much less those people unemployed, in the country to believe anything that he says or promises in his Address to the people?
     This is the same President who spent time at Disney World trying to create jobs by asking people to come to or go to "Fantasy Land"  and spend money for the "good of the people."

From the Magic Kingdom President  Obama tried  to tell  Americans, tourism and his own re-election  is good for America.

"I hope you know that the values you cherish, what you stand for, what you believe in, are the things I cherish and I believe in and I'm willing to fight for," Obama said.  How hard did he fight to come up with a budget for the American people? I dare say, he fought harder to get his self to Hawaii and  to  Florida and the fund raisers ...

                                                         

          


           Mr. President please do the United States a big favor: First stop campaigning and start being  President. Then call Iran on the phone and tell them we are sick and tired of all the screwing around with oil it's costing American's. Tell them if they don't stop screwing with us we will knock the crap out of them!  ( THEN CALL THE NAVY AND TELL THEM TO GET READY TO KICK ASS) Then get on the phone and talk to whoever  to  get the Keystone pipeline flowing as soon as possible,  call the EPA and tell them to knock it off and start helping business. No more fines and crap if something is wrong help the business make it right but no more tree hugging crap. Get our oil wells pumping as fast as possible. If there is a problem with a company list it and then help the company fix it, the longer it take the less the person at the EPA gets paid. (P.S.  No more bonuses for any government worker for doing their job)

 Then call the federal reserve and tell them to open up the books, all of them. Call the IRS tell them to stop all work go home take 4 weeks off with no pay.  Then call both houses of congress, Dems and Reps tell them to sit down with their respective members and talk   it too late for fighting, time has come to stop all spending, no spending on anything more than last year ( except defense) when any department of the government reaches the limit they spent last year stop spending and no borrowing from anybody but another department! Sorry just do it. And as a matter of fact go through the departments and cut, cut, cut, no more crap, no more!  As a matter of fact Mr. President sit down and figure out how much money we need( OK get your staff or who ever to figure out) when you come up with the figure no more than 7 days from today. Take that figures and find out where you can cut to get it.  OK,THERE IS A LOT MORE INVOLVED, BUT IT CAN BE DONE IF WE HAD A LEADER TO ACTUALLY DO IT!

             As the Republicans battle to see who becomes the candidate to take the country back, take heart,  this process will  bring out the strongest candidate.  As America finds out the details of each candidate remember, we still have no information about the current President's college years, grades, friends and other records. As Republicans turn over documents of all kinds the current President was court ordered to appear before a GA  court to prove citizenship so he will be allowed onto the GA ballot for President. Sad but true, the Mainstream media dropped the ball, big time, looking into the background of Obama before he was elected.

A Georgia judge has ordered President Barack Obama to appear in court in Atlanta Thursday for a hearing on a complaint that says Obama isn’t a natural-born citizen and can’t be president.
Orly Taitz, the California attorney who brought the legal challenge to Obama’s name on the March Georgia presidential primary ballot, says this is what she has been working for over the last three years.
“This will be 100 times bigger than Watergate,” she said Saturday morning, referring to the scandal that brought down President Richard Nixon in 1974.
“There are high ranking judges and federal officials who are involved in this cover up. The ramifications of this trial will be enormous.”
Taitz said she expects the president’s legal team to fight his appearance in the Georgia court.
“But he’s in a catch-22,” she said. “If he is appealing this decision, then he looks guilty. The whole nation understands this man is a fraud.”
This is one of many such lawsuits that have been filed across the country, so far without success.A Georgia resident made the complaint, which is intended to keep Obama’s name off the state’s ballot in the March presidential primary.
 The hearing is set for Thursday before an administrative judge. Deputy Chief Judge Michael Malihi on Friday denied a motion by the president’s lawyer to quash a subpoena that requires Obama to show up.
The Office of State Administrative Hearings handles disputes between the public and state agencies.

Obama Says, Catholic's Must Offer Abortion Coverage

              The Obama administration demands  the Catholic Church, other religions and religious groups, supply free of charge, the services of: Abortion coverage, the pill and other services that are against the Catholic Faith (as well as other religions).
              It is time for everyone to tell President Obama to shut up and step down..OK, we all know that isn't going to happen. As a matter of fact, there are some  Americans  that still support this President even though he is shredding our Constitution and stepping all over the rights of the people. I guess some people feel this is OK, because, as we have heard, in his opinion, it's "good for the people."( Liver might be good for "the people" but I don't want the government telling me, by law, I have to eat it or serve it to others.)

            Unbelievable? Sure sounds that way especially  in a country founded on Freedom!

ObamaCare - Rationing and Death Panel - Call it What You Want

“It” is the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), a new supreme authority over Medicare spending in America that was created by the health care overhaul law passed in 2010 by a "Democratic" Congress. IPAB is a panel of 15,  so-called, experts appointed by the president with authority to cut Medicare payments according to targets prescribed in the law. Starting in 2015, its annual “recommendations” will have the force of law. They are not subject to appeal or to judicial review.

Congress can override IPAB  but only with a 3/5 super majority in the Senate and some how get presidential approval for a substitute cost-cutting plan.

Former White House budget chief Peter Orszag calls the health care spending board a “very promising structure” for limiting Medicare costs. He counts it a virtue that IPAB’s decrees are very hard for Congress to overturn. “Radical as it sounds,” says Orszag, “we need to counter the gridlock of our political institutions by making them a bit less democratic.”

IPAB succeeds at that, and then some. Diane Cohen, an attorney for the Goldwater Institute, which is challenging IPAB in court, has blasted the health care law’s creation of IPAB as “the most sweeping delegation of congressional authority in history....”

The office of Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) warns that “There are virtually no checks on the panel, since its members are not answerable to voters and its recommendations cannot be challenged in court…. Many expect that in efforts to control spending, the panel will limit patient access to medical care.”

While the law does prohibit IPAB from rationing health care, it’s hard to imagine any other outcome from IPAB price controls even if it is called something else. As payments decline, doctors will be forced to drop out of Medicare or withhold some medical services—and that will leave Medicare patients standing in line or going without, aka "rationing".

“Huge reductions in care”
Health Secretary Kathleen Sebelius admitted that IPAB cuts could hurt seniors. Asked in a 2011 House hearing if IPAB-ordered payment reductions could mean longer waits for dialysis services, Sebelius replied: “ any cut in services … could mean huge reductions in care that seniors would have the opportunity to receive.”

Measures to repeal IPAB have been introduced in both the House and Senate. House passage seems certain, but the outcome is in doubt in the Senate where just 32 members have co-sponsored the “Health Care Bureaucrats Elimination Act.”

I assume most citizens of the United States now understand, for the good of the country and perhaps the life of their parents, grandparents or themselves,  the current President,  Obama needs to be a one term President in order to turn this country around.

 The Keystone pipe line has been in the works for years and impact studies have been done for  over three years! Now  President Obama, said he didn't have enough time to study the matter!***(It should be noted the deadline is not until Feb 21, 2012)

President Obama denied the largest "shovel ready" jobs program in the country.  He  hasn't had enough time to study the project. CRAP! (excuse me)  Studies have been done and the pipe line project  has passed all of them. So what's up with the "Obama" ?  He claims he wants to put Americans back to work, this project will employ many, many people. Could it be he wants gas to reach $5 a gallon? He has said the very same  in the past. (Could it be a question of CONTROL? He feels as President he should have total control?)

 The pipe line could reduce gas prices before the first drop "liquid energy" passes through the pipe line. One has to ask, what is this President up to, is it stupidity, "fantasy-landish,"  meanness, hatred, wanting total control or WHAT?

"This announcement is not a judgment on the merits of the pipeline, but the arbitrary nature of a deadline..." Obama said in a statement. "I'm disappointed that Republicans in Congress forced this decision, but it does not change my administration's commitment to American-made energy that creates jobs and reduces our dependence on oil." ??? ( Try something else Mr. President, that bird doesn't fly and that dog doesn't hunt)

 "The construction of the Keystone XL pipeline would deliver an additional 700,000 to 830,000 barrels of oil per day to the U.S. from Canada, the U.S.’s largest supplier of oil. Not only is the delay preventing additional imports from Canada, it is also preventing the creation of thousands of private-sector jobs. Building the pipeline would directly create 20,000 truly shovel-ready jobs; the Canadian Energy Research Institute estimates that current pipeline operations and the addition of the Keystone XL pipeline would create 179,000 American jobs by 2035."

 Recognizing the need for more energy supply and more jobs, both Democrats and Republicans expressed support for the Keystone XL pipeline, a $20 billion private-infrastructure investment in the United States. The states through which the pipeline would pass—Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas—would benefit greatly. The six states are collectively projected to receive $5.2 billion in property taxes from TransCanada in the course of the 100-year operating life of the pipeline.

 After looking at what is happening in this country I wonder if this project had been a US Obama Administration project, Obama ,himself, would be out in full force, ( TV spots, radio commercials, main stream media front page stories, nightly news shots  the works) telling people how great "his" pipeline was going to be and just how much "he" cares about America? Or would he rather scrap the entire project and let gas prices rise to over $5 per gallon? Truth is one can not really tell with this President!

"Obama is saying he rejected the permit application now based on the State Department's recommendation, which concluded there wasn't enough time to vet alternate pipeline routes."  Please excuse me but let me repeat  "The President’s  State Department thoroughly studied potential environmental impacts of the Keystone pipeline and found minimal risk to soil, water, air, and animal life."

The XL pipeline, if it ever gets built, will stretch from Alberta Canada all the way to the Gulf of Mexico, where U.S. refineries will be able to turn Canadian crude oil into gasoline and other fuels.
Canada is by far the largest supplier of crude oil to the U.S., providing the country with 1.9 million barrels per day, according to The Perryman Group, a Texas-based research firm that conducted a report on the economic impact Keystone will have on the six states through which it will travel.

  The Keystone XL Pipeline System will have the capacity to deliver approximately 1.1 million barrels per day of Canadian crude oil to US markets each day. Proponents of the pipeline say the project will help insulate the U.S. from testy oil-exporting regimes and volatile regions of the world, thus helping the nation's energy self-sufficiency. TransCanada says the pipeline will supply the U.S. with roughly half the amount of oil it imports from the Middle East.

TransCanada is promising the pipeline will create 15,000 construction and manufacturing jobs, generate $5.2 billion in property taxes from Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas and provide $20 billion in economic contributions.
The American Petroleum Institute, the largest U.S. trade group for oil and gas producers, said the pipeline will create 500,000 U.S. jobs by 2035, but opponents argue those are not permanent jobs. ( )
 


Even though the debate has focused on the Keystone XL Pipeline it is important to note, it is simply an extension of the Keystone Pipeline, which is already built and operational. It stretches from Hardsity, Alberta, and flows east to Manitoba then hooks due south to Steele City, Neb. From there it splits in  two, reaching Patoka, Ill., and Cushing, Okla.
A similar pipeline stretches from Wisconsin and Michigan all the way to Louisiana.
The Keystone XL Pipeline will relay Alberta to Steele City in one straight line of piping over much of Nebraska, then extend the current pipeline to Port Arthur, Texas, which is next to both Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico.


The pipeline would flow over an environmentally sensitive area of Nebraska. Known as the Sandhills, the region is sandy hills under which lies the Ogallala Aquifer, the leading source of drinking and irrigation water for the nation's bread basket.The ground is permeable and the fear is an oil spill in the region will percolate down into the water shed contaminating the entire aquifer.
The Sandhills is considered an ecoregion by the World Wide Fund for Nature, due to its distinct soil composition, and is one of the most intact natural habitats of the Great Plains, according to the WWF. Roughly 85 percent has not been developed or altered by humans.
In November 2011, the Nebraskan legislature passed a bill that would reroute the pipeline away from the region, and TransCanada agreed.
A new route is expected within  days.
In the Department of State's final Impact Statement reviewing the project, the Keystone XL pipeline is expected to have between 1.18 to 2.51 oil spills of any size per year.
 Union officials are normally shoulder-to-shoulder with environmentalists in the Democratic Party and in progressive coalitions, but the Keystone XL controversy has divided those two interest groups, with labor unions taking the same side as the oil industry.


The debate as to the project's environmental impact prompted the State Department to undertake a review of the project that has been going on since  2008. Between 2009 and 2010, the department hosted 41 public meetings and published its draft environmental impact statement on April 16.
Responding to public comments, the department issued in April 2011 a supplemental draft impact statement, which received more than 280,000 comments. A decision was expected in December 2011, but last November President Barack Obama  for purely political reasons with total disregard for the American citizens, some of whom elected him, deferred a decision until after the presidential election. A final decision by the State Department was not expected until 2013.
The delay was met with frustration by Republicans  in Washington and outrage by citizens    on Nov. 30, a bill was introduced that would force the president to approve the pipeline within 60 days of the bill's passing.
In mid-December Congressional members passed an amendment to the Payroll Tax Holiday bill that forced the president to make a final determination on the bill by Feb. 21.
Not having total control, the president rejected the pipeline project,( well before the Feb 21st deadline)  claiming his administration did not have enough time to review the project, that began  in 2008.
