Guilty or Not Guilty

DOES ANYONE REALLY KNOW?

           GUILTY.... got away with murder and any number of other verdicts have been floating around for the last few days after our court system deemed Casey Anthony not guilty of the murder of her daughter! There are any number of people, TV hosts and news peoples who   say she is guilty or that she got away with murder. I say, if any one of them know "for sure" where were they during the trial why didn't they go to the judge or the lawyers???   Truth is, they don't know any more than I know or you know, unless of course you happen to be Casey Anthony. Even then I am not sure she really knows what happen!


           It is my "Opinion"  OJ Simpson was, by all the evidence, proven to be guilty too a higher degree of certainty  than Casey Anthony ever was. Of course this doesn't make either one of them, guilty or not guilty. In both cases there are a total of three people   dead and nobody has been proven to have cased their deaths.   In the Anthony case it has never been proven there  was somebody responsible for her death. Accident or not, never proven. (Anyone would be hard pressed to say the deaths, in the Simpson case, were the results of an accident.) It's too bad the court didn't find out what happened (in the Anthony case) and too bad and very sad an innocent little girl is dead and "almost" nobody on this earth "knows" what happen.

           A TV show host said, "Casey Anthony is guilty!" Please say it is your belief, your feeling or what you think but don't  pass it on as  fact! If you are going to say it is a fact, tell us more or shut up!
 I guess this is the way the country is heading. People, of some importance, say things and because they say it, it makes it true(or so they believe).   Listen to the current president, He does this often....
But that, my friends, is  a story for another day....

          In any event, what do you "THINK" about the Anthony case?  Not sure if any of us cares much about Casey Anthony since it seems as if  she lies about everything and gets better and better at it...
      
        It is too bad  a young girl is dead and her mother doesn't know or won't say what really happened. . .
 How long was the child in the water?
 How did the child's body get to the side of the road?

If the grand parents knew why did they continue on with the search and tee shirts etc?
 What would you like to know if anybody was able or willing to answer?

If a President had done these things?

*If any other of our presidents had  a Teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes? *

*If any other of our presidents had reduced your retirement plan holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved? *

*If any other of our presidents had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to "Cinco de Cuatro" in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the 5th of May (Cinco de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, wouldn't you have winced in embarrassment? *

*If any other of our presidents had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to  plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?*

*If any other of our presidents' administrations had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11? *

*If any other of our presidents had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence? *

Falling Gas Prices: Gas $1.86 Yeah!!

     Thank you Mr. President, thank you for looking out for the welfare of the people! The "runaway"  price at the pump was causing major problems for millions of Americans.  I heard you say,"supply was not the problem" And you looked very Presidential and even concerned and now:

 Gas is under $2.00 !

WAIT............... 

What???????

Yeah right!

Big joke, Mr. President thanks to your inaction Gas prices are still going up at an alarming rate and will be over $5.00 or $6.00  soon! All you have done so far is say, "Supply is not the problem..." I guess that is you rational for not allowing US companies to drill for oil.

    I just don't understand this man!!!!!! Maybe it is his lack of experience, I don't believe he is stupid and I sure hope he is not mean and trying to tear this country down.To be honest, it is really hard to tell. He has spent more money than any other and probably all the other Presidents combined and what does the country have....

   When $3.69 is a "good deal" for a gallon of gas it's time the President of the United States of America stands up for it's people. Mr. President of the United States of America, if  you do nothing else, make sure the drilling permits that have already been granted are distributed so those that have the leases can drill. 
   As a side note:  Open up parts of Alaska! I, for one, could care less if we tick off a few polar bears or whatever kind of animals are in Alaska, we need to drill. Drilling does NOT  kill the animals and oil is natural, straight out of God's green earth, so go hug a tree and thank God for a natural source of energy.
    I am tired of your excuses and lies. You act like and  sound like, you are upset because the US companies that have leases aren't drilling but on the other  hand you restrict them from drilling. I see you had no problem lending "our" money to companies in Brazil so they can come to the Gulf of Mexico and drill for, what should be, "our" oil. You even went to Brazil and told those companies the United States would be a good customer. No, Mr. President we should  not be their customers,  we should be selling our excess oil  not buying what  we need.
What do you not understand? Oh wait, I forgot the citizens of the United States of America are paying for all the gas and jet fuel you use.....................so you feel no, "paon at the pump"
 Don't start telling me and the people of the United States of America it will take 5,10,15 or 20 years before we will get gas from the oil. That is "old hat" and doesn't matter anymore! Oil is on the stock market now and speculation plays a big part in the price!!!!!! If you announce, the United States,  in all it glory, is going to drill for it's own oil/gas ( and then do it or make sure it gets done) that in itself will affect the price! Try it and see!  Mr. President, whatever it is you are   doing now is not helping...by the way what are you doing now? Oh yeah, NOTHING!!!!!!!!

GAS Prices, where is "Our" President?

     Shouldn't "our" President be working to help all of us by trying to get gas prices DOWN?
OH wait I remember hearing him say he wanted gas prices to go up it would make some of the "new" forms of energy more reasonable. Wait a minute ...  if you have as product, in this example, hydrogen fueled car, the best thing that can happen is the price of gas powered cars go out sight OR the gas that fuels the cars goes out of sight.  I have a wonderful idea, work on getting the price of gas down............................................................................... .   .

     The President wants all of us to drive these "neat new cars" so the higher the price of gas  the more possible his "hope" might become reality, in the meantime the average consumer get screwed. Oh yeah, have you seen the price of some of these "neat new cars" no "neat new deal"

Democrats can't blame this one (if it happens) on the other side, neither can the President. ( Government shut down)

Government Shut Down, Who is Really to Blame 

 I don't want to hear any of the "Stuff" that is being "bounced" around in the media about how the Republicans are trying to cause the government to shutdown. The TRUTH is, the budget they are trying to pass  is the 2011 budget, about 6 months late. Yes, six months... think about this for a minute... six months ago the Democrats controlled the House, Senate and the White House,  they could have passed any budget they wanted. Do you understand,  any budget they wanted, remember, they held the majority in the House, Senate and the White House. If the Democrats had done what they should/could have this issue wouldn't even be an issue.

   If you hear anybody talking about or commenting on  the Government shut down and they try to blame it on the Republicans be polite and tell them the truth.
 The Democrats in congress failed to do their job in the past and and have caused this mess and the Democratic President is "still"  or should I say "is"
letting the government shutdown. 

"Mr. Obama’s threaten to veto  the Republican plan the House passed  that would keep federal agencies open another week.  The plan cut $12 billion in spending and provide the Pentagon with money through Sept. 30. Republicans hoped the legislation, which passed 247 to 181, was a serious effort to avert a shutdown.  So it seems the Republicans  have come up with another plan to stop the shutdown but the President has said  if it comes to his desk he will veto the bill. "IF" is the key word because, " Senate Democrats indicated they did not intend to bring the House-passed budget extension to a vote, drawing outrage from Republicans."
 Now just who is doing what abut the budget and who has not done what they should have concerning the budget?
 No matter what happens  the "lawmakers" will still get paid! Wait ... they will still get paid? Still get paid?  Some of them caused it yet they will still get paid? GO FIGURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just Tell The Truth President Obama? Oil Leases & Permits

     In a speech last week I heard President say he was troubled, the owners of so many oil leases were not drilling. They have plenty of "energy" but are not drilling,  he "seemed" puzzled if not a little upset, they were not drilling for the "energy".

  "The petroleum industry sued the federal government Monday to try to force action on a backlog of hundreds of unissued federal oil and gas leases in the Rocky Mountain region.

The Denver-based Western Energy Alliance and six companies based in Colorado, Wyoming and Oklahoma filed suit in U.S. District Court in Cheyenne.

The lawsuit focuses on 118 leases in Wyoming and Utah that the U.S. Bureau of Land Management has not issued despite selling them to the companies at public auctions as long ago as November 2005. The lawsuit said the Mineral Leasing Act required the BLM to issue the leases within 60 days.

The lawsuit seeks an order to issue the backlogged leases and to require the BLM to issue all future leases within 60 days of sale.

Region-wide, hundreds of leases sold in the past few years -- 1,057 in Wyoming alone -- still await decisions on whether they ultimately will be issued or not. Companies have paid more than $100 million for unissued leases across the region, money the government has not offered to refund while also not granting the go-ahead to drill on public lands, the lawsuit said.

"Instead, the lease payments are held by the defendants in an unproductive capacity for months and years with no certainty as to when either the leases will be issued or the lease payments refunded," the lawsuit stated.

Interior Department spokeswoman Kendra Barkoff declined to comment."

Why Weren't You Here Mr. President And What Have You To Say?

                                                        
     The President of the United States of America has some explaining to do, not only to the American people but also to congress. It "seems" the President forgot to or didn't bother to inform congress  that we, The United States, were going to war. I remember all the talk about how President Bush  was so bad because he took us to or got us into a war with a country, he thought, as did most of the other countries around world, had nuclear weapons and were hiding them from the United Nations  and their inspectors. I am still not convinced Saddam  didn't have them nor do I understand, if he didn't, why he played the games he did. In any event a dictator and his sons were stopped from committing  horrible offenses against their own people. The point here is, the President of the United States went to congress and got an "OK"  vote from them to take the country to war.

This president must feels he is above all that and can do whatever he thinks is best! Mr. President, just because you were elected President doesn't make you any smarter than you were when you didn't do your duties as a senator, you know, when you didn't vote, didn't even bother to show up and when you did show up you voted present!

 This goes to show the media in this country  should have dug deeper into the past of the current President before he was elected. I don't care what color, creed, religion or sex the President is, however what he or she did in the past, is important.
 Race should not be a factor in electing a President but I fear there was some racism in the election of the current President. Maybe not racism as one might think when you first hear the word but because of race this  candidate may have gotten a pass on  looking into his past. Maybe it was fear of being called racist, the media, didn't dig as deep as they should. But all things and people being equal the candidates for President of the United States were not treated equal, by the media. Perhaps I am completely wrong and the difference was because of party but I have a sneaky feeling that may have been part of it but not all of it. There are still things about this President's past we still don't know.

I just hope we have all learned a valuable lesson, it is not the color of a man's or woman's skin that matters  and never let the color of a person's skin stop you or make you take an action.
 Now Mr. President, it's about time you stay in this country and  explain yourself and the actions you have taken.....
Enough said at this point!

Japan, Nuclear Power Plant and an Earthquake

     Not just an earthquake but, one of  if not, the worst earth quake in Japan's history. Here is  what probably happen and what maybe happening inside the reactor or reactors, the water in the Japanese nuclear reactor is gone or almost gone. It is hard to tell now if it burned off or leaked out because of the  damaged done by the earthquake to the cooling system of the plant. The danger lies in the design of   the reactors. The rods(plutonium or uranium) that  are submerged into the water, that causes the heat, that produces the steam, that turns the turbines, that causes the production of electricity, have very little or no water to cools them down.  Other rods called, control rods,  that are put into the water to slow down or stop the reaction were put into the water when the earthquake hit stopping any further reaction however the (plutonium or uranium) rods were still very hot, so hot in fact the heat caused huge amounts of pressure to build up inside the already pressurized  room or chamber where the radioactive material is kept.
    Since I  have not been in the reactors, since the quake, this is not an description of what happened but rather what may have happened, I want to make that perfectly clear, unlike some media accounts you have or will hear.
     The latest news being "reported" by other media is, the water is gone from one of these reactors and the rods are still hot, very, very hot. Stay tuned for more information. I will "try" to get the real information.
     The latest news from Japan is, what the US said about there being no water in the reactor was untrue. A NRC official  made the comment about there being no water in the reactor yesterday during a hearing before congress. It's hard to tell why he said what he did but Japan's officials say it's not true. Think about this, a government official not telling the people the truth.........  not all that hard to believe, now is it? One of these days we might find out the"REAL" truth, but for now we really don't know. We can hope for the best, after all, it seems our government is running on hope these days...
